Dear Residents, Family, Responsible Parties, and Staff Members
As always Victorian Post Acute’s primary concern is the health and well-being of our residents and staff. In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have enhanced our infection control protocols in a number of ways consistent with guidance provided by the CDC, CMS, CDPH, and other federal, state, and local healthcare authorities. We have been and are currently restricting non-medically necessary appointments, visitation with family and friends, we are screening employees and residents for symptoms and high temperatures, and avoiding group activities where possible.
From our last round of testing zero residents and zero staff have tested positive for COVID-19. So far, 21 Staff members and 50 residents have made a complete recovery. We currently have one staff member undergoing quarantine at home and one resident undergoing quarantine isolated away from other residents in our COVID unit. All other staff members and residents have tested negative.
We remain in constent communication with local and state health authorities regarding the matter. We will adhere to the guidance they have provided us to limit risk to our residents and employees. We will continue to monitor the health of residents and staff, for their own well-being and for the well-being of others in our facility. We will keep you updated if and when things change to the COVID status of Victorian Post Acute to keep everyone as informed as possible. If our status does change you will get a recorded call from me personally.
If you have any further questions you can reach out to me personally and I would be happy to assist you. We appreciate your patience with us and the extraordinary staff working tirelessly during this challenging time.
